Brodie McGee – e-Learning Co-Ordinator
Brodie completed a Bachelor of Arts in English and French, and Bachelor of Middle / Secondary Education at Flinders University in South Australia and is currently in his final month of a Masters of Educational Leadership. His masters has focused on the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs in school environments, and the day to day leadership required to make educational organisations successful.
Prior to being a teacher Brodie began his career in the IT industry, and has brought his passion for tech into his classrooms over the last few years while teaching across South Australia, the Northern Territory, and Victoria. Brodie has worked closely with schools through setting up their Maker Spaces, leading ICT workgroups through the implementation of LMS and learning technologies, as well as providing Professional Learning programs to help grow teacher’s tech skills. Brodie’s interests are around engaging students in classroom content through the use of hands on technology including 3D Printing and Scanning, and AR/VR tech. Brodie hopes to do further post-graduate studies in educational technologies in the near future.
Brodie’s background lends itself to working across multiple LMS systems, as well across Google, Microsoft, and Apple’s educational suites of software. He has worked extensively with other teachers to further develop their ICT capabilities and become Highly Accomplished and Lead teachers
